Get out and vote - only 7 more days

It’s been awhile since I have had a few minutes to sit down and post something.  Most of my free time is spent working the phones at the local Obama campaign office and the rest is spent trying to get friends and family to get out and vote early.  Here in Florida, early voting started on October 20 and is open until November 2.  If you live in Florida and want to avoid the long lines on November 4, find your early voting location.

This election is a critical point in the history of America.  We have suffered tremedous economic hardships recently and things are not going to improve overnight.  We need to be sure the person in charge of America’s future understands and respects every citizen.  Don’t stay home — get out and vote!

While the deadline is fast approaching for absentee ballots, many states are still offering early voting.  Get more information about voting in your state.

Just as important as your vote is your time.  If you have even a little bit of time to spare before election day, please consider volunteering for Barack Obama’s campaign.  Every phone call, every knock on a door, every person you speak to on the street could be the deciding vote in this year’s election.  Be a part of it!  Get out and encourage friends, family and neighbors to vote early and vote Obama - Yes We Can!
